I love how you've selected a particular coloir theme and used it throughout your whole cover. However, some of your text is over lapping your pictures, you could improve it by moving it over slightly
The beginnings of a good music blog here. Although your background image is appropriate you need to find something bigger to stretch across the back. In addition, your blog title is too hard to read. Try to embed as a pdf/jpeg rather than in slideshare so you don't lose your shaping. Also, for a modern magazine avoid serif based fonts.
